.”Some would say that it is not the events or details in our lives that creates inner suffering, but it is the clinging we do through the process of thinking, as that is the true creator of the prison and limits of our mind. Thus why mastering the mind is the attainment we should reach, for if there is ever something we could master IT certainly would be this, after all IT is the closest thing that is within us, yet IT is the part of us that is far too often least noticed. Beyond the wealth, beyond the fame, beyond all temporary pleasure we may attain, there is an inner art that one can develop within the process of self reflection. We all have our own karma to work on in this spiritual world whether we know it or not, as all events that come before us are platforms that lead to expansion or decay on the unfolding level. Look closer not at those who have wronged you, but look closer as to the expressions of your passion, for the dissonance or bliss one expresses and feels is the indicator of the path one is leaning towards. Conflict is real, but nothing in this dimension last forever, even the rotten things people do or say to each other, no-thing last beyond the moment we decide to release the illusions. We all can equally make bad decisions in our lives regardless to what we say or think in the present moment, for when we lose our inner focus we let unconsciousness flow and carry us down river, as no-one is exempt from the unconscious influence of the archetypal ocean. As they say the dark night of the soul finds us all, but it is those who choose to let things flow by and master the mind through the art of non-clinging, they suddenly see the beauty once again throughout their lives, as self realization suddenly arises all from within that which we call the EYE!

"Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it."
- Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love (via wordsnquotes)
"Let go of desire : Most people live with “attached mind.” What this means is that they attach themselves to a desire, and when they don’t get it, their emotions plummet into negativity. Instead, try to practice “detached mind.” That means that when you want something, you will still be happy whether you get it or not. Your emotions remain happy or neutral."
"All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry - all forms of fear - are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.— Eckhart Tolle"

Don’t make someone a priority who has made you an option.
This time, take a pass to the front of the line, and make yourself #1 for a change. Whenever you say “yes” to someone else, you automatically say “no” to yourself. Practice the skills of actively creating what you want, protecting what you value, and acting decisively to change what is not working in your life.

Today, say “I do” to your own needs, growth, knowledge and to your dream. Make it non-negotiable to work on your own behalf and your dream every single day. This doesn’t mean that you are selfish or insensitive to the people around you, or the other responsibilities in your life. Learning to say “No” to others and “Yes” to you…allows you to excel by setting appropriate boundaries on your time, energy and resources. Give yourself a real gift - the freedom to be who you really are and do what you were meant to do in the world. You were born for GREATNESS!

priority greatness

As Mars is now entering your own sign, he quietly sharpens his knives in the darkest shadows as he squarely sets his sights for the highest prize.

At some point in the next month or two this energy will fuse into your entire being and engender you with the most interminable drive to achieve whatever you want. Such is the power of this martial energy that astrologers, ancient and contemporary, all hold a reverential awe and a petrified fear over its intensity. His desire, his irrepressible passion, his sheer ruthless determination to obliterate any obstacle into oblivion marks him as the staunchest warrior and the most formidable foe. Even in retreat he goes out fighting and his fight is always to the death. This is the power of Mars in Scorpio. This is the lethal touch.

So of course, with Saturn also making his path through Scorpio, the ominous combination will at some stage harken the old quote by FDR (or uncle Ben, from Spiderman) “With great power comes great responsibility”. I’m sure they never meant it as much as when Mars in Scorpio has someone cornered.

So, almost immediately you may begin to sense a craving for authority and control, and though you may keep your agenda seriously under wraps from others, using your superlative stealth and those mysteriously misleading smoke screens, your crosshairs do not hesitate to turn upon the most public, most celebrated and biggest fat-cats in the business. An early stoush with one of them will be almost unavoidable and possibly made quite public, and although such an incident will not necessarily hoist you as the most popular of characters, it will no less establish you as a force to be reckoned with, thus making many very nervous, and some others secretly green with envy or excited  at the promise of deliverance.

Somewhere in the spectrum between absolute power and a moral sense of responsibility lies your deepest motive for going into “mission to kill” mode.

A shot across the bowers – all glory is fleeting.

Laugh out loud at life. It’s good medicine for your heart and spirit. It’s a way for you to say “Life ~ I’m still standing with my head up high.” Laughter strengthens the immune system and increases your capacity to cope. It has the power to heal you at the cellular level. Sometimes all you can do is to laugh, even through your tears and pain.

When you’re overwhelmed, laugh at your bills, your body, your kids, or at any unexpected challenge of life. This is not denying what is in your life. It’s defying it! One minute of anger weakens the immune system for 4-5 hours, while one minute of laughter boosts it for over 24 hours. So try this. Make silly faces in the mirror, laugh from down deep and bring out the child in you! Find some popcorn, get a few family, friends together and allow yourself to really laugh. Interrupt your worries and choose to make yourself feel good in spite of it all. You Deserve!
